The Artist’s Kitchen is a documentary style cooking show, born out of collaboration and the confluence of a need to create and connect with other artists and a desire to share that with the world. Connection nourishes and provides meaning and purpose; cooking together is an act of intimacy and love.

 

Host Monica Mader is on the scene, sharing in the surprises along the way. As an aspiring artist herself, she uses her perspective to connect with talented people and learn about their art, life, inspiration and the impetus behind the dish they’ve chosen to make… and how those life facets are indelibly intertwined.

 

Together, Monica and guest artists prepare a favorite food or a special handed-down family recipe. The show presents a platform, organically showcasing artist’s unique expressions, talents and gifts. Each episode is shot on location in the artists’ homes, studios and around town at special events, inviting our viewers in for a closer look at how our featured artists live, cook, and create.
